The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Everyone has their favorite book, whether it be a classic, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, or any other genre, there is always something about your favorite book that makes it you favorite book. My favorite book, is the Harry Potter series. I was first introduced to the Harry Potter series, when my mom’s friend told her it was a fantastic book. However at the time I was only 10 years old so, I didn't’t want to read such a long book series about magic. A few years later however, one of my friends said it was her favorite book too, so I decided to give it a try. This decision was probably one of the best decisions I have made in my entire life. (This might be exaggerating, but really it was a really good decision).

My favorite part of the Harry Potter series is the amazing theme behind it. It has the meaning of even when life gets hard, you have to keep fighting for what it right. There are so many other themes in Harry Potter such as friendship, family love, intelligence isn't always a thing to be ashamed of, and to just be yourself because people will love you for who you are. I think that, J.K Rowling did such a great job of teaching the younger reader these lessons through Harry Potter’s epic adventure.

That the next thing, Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s (the three main characters) have some pretty epic adventures. In every book there is a different problem that they have to face, in defeating Voldemort once and for all. You learn so much about all of the characters through these adventures, and so much about the wizarding world.

Another great part about the Harry Potter series is the depth, and amount of details that J.K Rowling put into her books. She spent so many years writing these books, and it was totally worth it because the amount of detail is perfect. She knew what she was going to write in the last books, from the very beginning, which truly paid off, because there are little hints in all of the books leading up to the final book. These details made the final book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows so fun to read because, you were able to see were everything that you have been reading up to that point all came together.

Overall I would recommend reading the Harry Potter books. Even if you don’t think you will like them, still at least try them, because it truly was a fantastic adventure that I went on through reading and seeing the movies.
